• Located 7 Km from Sancerre
• Clay and limestone soil – Kimmeridgian marl, called “Saint Doulchard” marl
• Vineyards and soil regularly maintained
• Destalking, pressing selection, cold racking of the must
• Fermentation with temperature control in stainless steel vats
• Aging on fine lees
• Precipitation of the tartaric acids through the action of the winter cold in our cellars

 

WINE TASTING NOTES

• Sensations:
  • Colour: Pale yellow, silver highlights.
  • Nose: Intense aromas of blackcurrant buds, gooseberry with a hint of lemon.
  • In the mouth: Clean sharp foretaste, giving way to kiwi and lime aromas with a balanced acidity.

• Food and wine pairing: An ideal accompaniment to seafood, oysters, cheese pastries, citrus fruit salads…

• Ideal serving temperature: 12°C
